My Bio
As the Director of the Montessori Preschool, Before & After School Programs, and K–9 Camps at San Tan Charter School, I am passionate about creating nurturing, joyful spaces where children grow in confidence, capability, and connection. I’ve worked within the San Tan organization for more than 10 years and feel deeply connected to the students, staff, and families who make this community so special.
At the heart of my work is the Montessori Preschool. I believe young children thrive in environments where they are trusted, respected, and supported in developing independence. As a director, I work closely with our teachers to create classrooms that honor each child’s unique rhythm while building a foundation of kindness, responsibility, and curiosity. My goal is to lead with empathy and high expectations—both for children and the adults who support them.
I also lead our Music Together® In-School program and host Music Together® Family Classes, using music to support early learning and strengthen family bonds.
Across all San Tan campuses, I serve as a leadership coach and trainer. I am a licensed independent facilitator of the Love and Logic® curricula and have been teaching its principles for over 17 years. I also present with the Kerby Seminar Group and lead workshops for schools, educators, and families across Arizona and the U.S., focusing on emotional ownership and relationship-based behavior guidance rooted in empathy and accountability.
I hold a bachelor’s degree with a focus on education and child development and have spent more than 18 years in the classroom as both a preschool teacher and music educator. These experiences continue to shape my leadership and fuel my commitment to supporting students, families, and staff.
At home, I’m a proud wife and mom to three wonderful kids who constantly remind me of the wonder, challenges, and joy of childhood. My family keeps me grounded in the real-life experiences that inform my work every day.
I am grateful to be part of a school community that values connection, creativity, and each learner’s unique journey.
