My Bio

Greetings! I am Adorne Rixford, and I am so excited to be teaching here at San Tan Charter. I recently moved to Arizona, but grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I went to Georgia Gwinnett College to receive my degree in Early Childhood Education. I was a 3^rd grade teacher for 7 years, then became the Advanced Content Math teacher for 3rd-5th grade, as well as overseeing our gifted program and facilitating a 1st-2nd grade Critical Thinking Skills/Problem Solving class. I am married and have 2 dogs and 2 cats. When I am not home, I am most likely traveling on an adventure, camping, hiking, or kayaking. I am a lover of our National Parks and State Parks, and love supporting them. Teaching has been a very special place in my heart, and I am so excited to be supporting your child and helping to guide their growth!
