Hello Power Campus!
Here we are almost to the Labor Day weekend. It is difficult to believe we are over halfway to the end of first quarter! As students are settling into the routine, please help us in keeping us our kids focused on academic achievement. We have been very impressed so far with the amount of focus and direction taken to make sure we are learning grade-level content and working towards mastery in our subjects. Parents have been awesome in working with the school and helping to hold our students accountable for their learning.
After the Labor Day weekend, after school activities will be in full swing and after fall break we will be celebrating Homecoming week!
Friday Night Fever
Would you like to join us on TELEVISION this Friday night after the conclusion of the home football game? San Tan Charter School is the special host of the 32nd annual 12News Friday Night Fever show. Coach Taylor and the team, and any fans who stay late after the game, are to join the team at 11:00pm as our school will be on TV for live interviews with coaches and players.

Pandemic Recovery Tutoring and Clubs
Reminder that our MAP Testing Interventions (tutoring) starts next week. To participate in this program, you will have received an email from the school inviting you to the Pandemic Recovery program. If you received that email, please be sure to sign up and have your child present at their scheduled time and location to receive this assistance.

Grandparents Day
Grandparents can join their students at lunch on Monday, Sept. 13. Junior High (7th and 8th grade lunch) is scheduled from 12:06 – 12:36pm and high school lunch (grades 9-12) is set for 1:03 – 1:33pm. We look forward to seeing all our grandparents on campus!

Athletics Family Pass
All High School games have a gate fee of $5 per adult and $3 per student/child. For your convenience, we will be offering Athletic Family Passes for the immediate and non-immediate families of our San Tan Athletes. The options include $50 per season or $100 for the year. Tickets may be purchased for immediate family members (i.e., parents/guardians and siblings under 18). All other non-immediate family members (i.e., grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc.) are also welcome to purchase a family pass for entrance into the games. San Tan Charter Fight Song
Join in on the fun and school spirit by learning the STCS Fight Song. Lyrics and piano accompaniment are attached to this week’s Tauscher Times. Each time we score a touchdown in football, be sure to help sing it out! Thank you to all the fans and Dr. Sippel who led us in the singing during last Friday’s home football game.
Technology
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops at the Power Campus. Each student needs a laptop to access school testing, classroom curriculum and more. Parents have the option of leasing technology from the school or supplying your own technology from a list of approved devices is on the Parent Portal page. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease fee for the school’s technology and a $50 annual fee for registering your family’s personal device.
