Hello Power Campus!
Welcome to the first edition of the Tauscher Times! As new principal of the Power campus, I first off want to give thanks to all the hard work Mrs. Armstrong gave to the organization and the strong leadership she provided. It is no doubt we have a proud legacy to build upon on as we move into the next chapter here at San Tan Charter!
It has been a challenge for all of us to educate during the pandemic, but rest assured San Tan Charter is excited to get underway delivering the high-level educational content that both challenges and stimulates our students intellectually while providing the same socio-emotional supports that are so critical to the San Tan experience. Our talented staff is ready to take on the new challenges of what it means to teach during COVID and I have all the confidence in the world our community will be leaders in the education community.
Start of School
Please be on the lookout for our official start date of school as it will soon be emailed to our school community by Dr. Sippel.
Thank you to the families who have been following our school emails and completing surveys so that we can move forward together to meet the needs of our students. To help us best prepare for another great year of learning, be sure to select your experience: On-Campus, Home-Based, or Hybrid.
Athletics
Our Athletics Department is busy planning this year for all athletics. Our office is in constant communication with the AIA (Arizona Interscholastic Association) and CAA (Canyon Athletic Association) for return to play. Presently, both leagues have a start date for Fall practices (5th-12th Grades) for Monday, August 17th.
This year we will be moving our athletics registration online with Register My Athlete! Please watch for a separate email from Ms. Tatum regarding the use of this new registration system.

School Supplies
San Tan has kicked off its annual back to school, school supplies fundraiser to save you money and make life easier! Please pre-order your school supplies now to have them arrive in your student’s classroom.
- The fundraiser is open to all San Tan students.
- Hybrid and Home-Based Learners – You are welcome to participate in the fundraiser to ensure you have all the supplies you need to complete your studies.
- Supplies will be available for pick before school begins.
