Hello Power Campus!
You heard me say it all last year and the now the East Valley agrees! San Tan Charter School has been named “Best School” in the East Valley by BeLocal. Our school receives this distinction in a year that it also gained its 20-year charter renewal and has grown in enrollment for its second-consecutive year. I am proud to announce that our school and our community has been recognized for the incredible work we are doing.
Spring Musical
This week over 60 members of the Annie cast and crew prepare for our spring musical! All performances are sold out with opening night this Thursday at 7:00pm. Thank you to Ms. McQuaid and all the community that showed up this weekend to load-in our sets, and to Plexus Technology team and the Arizona Opera for setting up our brand-new stage lighting and sound system for this season’s production.
Senior and 8th Grade Trip
Also, on tap this week is the Senior trip to Universal Studios GradBash. The San Tan caravan leaves Friday, May 13, at 7:00am. Also, next Monday, May 16, is our 8th grade trip to Sunsplash.
End of the Year Awards Nights
Be sure join us for our end-of-the-year awards ceremonies May 17 for the Spring Athletics Awards and May 21 the Academic Awards for the 2021-22 school year.
End of Year Breakfast/Yearbook Signing
As we close out the end of the year, we would like to acknowledge our students with an End of the Year Breakfast. Our culinary club is once again leading the charge and is asking for donations to assist in this special sendoff! Please click below for the Sign-Up Genius for this event.

2022-23 Student Council Elections
Student Council elections are underway for the 2022-23 school year. Thank you to all the students and parents who supported this year’s application process—we set a record with 39 applicants applying for school leadership positions! Campaigns are happening this week with voting next Tuesday, May 17 and winners announced May 18.

Summer Camps
After the school year ends, the next one begins! Open up the attached Sports-Theater Camp Catalog to check out our upcoming summer offerings. Registration is underway. All students looking to participate in these events this summer must be registered prior to starting the camp.
Babysitting Classes:
Ms. Stevens from the Recker campus will be hosting a Babysitting class on May 14th from 9am to 1pm. It is for boys and girls ages 12 and older. The class will be minimum of 4 students with a maximum of 10 students, so it is first-come, first-served. Please click on the link below to sign up!

Final Grades
The last day to turn in assignments for grading will be Friday, May 20th. Finals are the following week.
Technology Check-In
San Tan Charter will be turning in all personal devices on Wednesday, May 25. Make sure your students are here on campus to turn in their technology for the 2021-22 school year or un-register their personal device.
