Tauscher Times 4.26.22
Hello Power Campus!
Wow, the time is starting to flying by—now that state testing has concluded and we move into May, we begin our final preparations for the end of the school year. We have many awesome activities on the horizon, so keep on the lookout for information on what is happening over the next few weeks. Celebrations start tonight on campus! We have SENIOR Night for boys baseball and boys volleyball, and next week (teacher appreciation week, by the way…) we have our final MAP testing.
AND, don’t forget, tomorrow is a half-day, “B” day schedule and May 6 is a half-day, “A” day schedule.
On the topic of next week’s MAP testing, at the beginning of the school year we made a commitment as a school to help fill in the gaps from the learning loss that occurred during the pandemic. At that time, we set a school-wide goal to try and help get our students caught up by the end of the year. Whether it was our Pandemic Recovery tutoring program or students and teachers working hard in the classroom, next week’s MAP tests show us how far we have come this year. Please help by making sure our students give their best efforts on the MAP tests.

Teacher Appreciation
Next week begins teacher appreciation week. Student Council and San Tan Charter have some great activities planned for staff, but it is always best to hear from you! Be sure to heap on the praise and love this school year for all the hard work and dedication our teachers give to their students! Remember our food and nutrition policy, if you are planning on giving teachers any food treats ; )
Tutoring Program
I would personally like to thank all the teachers, parents and families for supporting this year’s tutoring program. Services end this week, so make sure your students say thank you to their teachers who have supported them in the program.
