Dear Brandon,

As we come into Easter weekend, I wanted to remind everyone that we will have Monday, April 1, off from school and then move straight into our annual State Testing schedule!

To welcome everyone back and to prepare them for testing, students are welcome to join us at 5:30pm on Monday, April 1, as the STCS culinary department will host a FREE spaghetti dinner in the student union. Food will be served out of the culinary room and students are welcome to sit inside or outside of the Student Union to enjoy a meal together to end Spring Break and prepare for testing.

DONATIONS for the Testing Dinner and the culinary department are greatly appreciated!

Parents are welcome to donate to the whole or donate to their student’s testing day.  We are looking for all the help we can get!

Welcome Baby Porter!

Blessings! Samantha Porter delivered her baby Cru Porter yesterday! Please help us in celebrating his early delivery and welcoming him to the San Tan family! Mr. and Mrs. Porter and Cru are all doing well and resting with their family. Mrs. Porter will be at home with baby for the rest of the school year so send her your blessings to sam.porter@santancs.com.

Prom Season!

Save the date for Saturday, April 27, for San Tan Charter’s high school prom! Tickets go on sale the week of April 2 as the students’ return to campus. This year’s venue and Prom event is not to be missed!  All San Tan Charter high school students are welcome to attend. Guest forms for prom can be picked up from the front desk.

Tax Credit

The giving season is still upon us! This year’s tax credit giving goal is $100,000.00.

Your gift — large or small — will make a difference.

  • Culinary Arts: Restaurant quality cutlery, pots/pans, additional shelving, and supplies for the classroom
  • Fine Arts: Music for concerts, playbills, programs, paint, art supplies, and sound equipment
  • Full-Day Kindergarten Scholarship Grants
  • Library: Shelves and books
  • Health Care Supplies
  • Athletics
  • Clubs

There are TWO ways to give!

In addition, our Montessori Preschool School gives out around $45,000.00 a year in scholarship to those families in need, we are able to offer these scholarships because of the Arizona School tax credit program. The best part is whatever you contribute, you will receive dollar for dollar back on your state taxes. So, if you give $100, you can deduct that $100 off what you owe in taxes. You do not have to have a child at the school to pledge, you must only be an AZ State resident paying AZ State taxes.
