I hope you are having a great week! Everything on campus is rolling along smoothly. Teachers will be returning next week to begin their Professional Development. We cannot wait for your students to return! This week, please look out for an individual email from me as to how to sign up for the hot lunch option.

Office Closing

Please note the following changes for the Recker Front Office for the next couple weeks of Professional Development

  • July 17th-19th– The office will be open from 1:30-5:00
  • July 26th– The office will be closed all day

Recker Academic Success Kit

This next year, we are asking families for $15 per child to purchase our “Success Kit”. In the success kit, will be the following items.

  1.   School Agenda- School
  2.   School Communication Folder
  3.   PBIS Rewards
  4.   Data Tracking Kit

Please fill out one form per student: The goal would be for all to have purchased this by August 1st.


Fall Sports Registration Night

July 18th at 6:00 pm we will be holding our Fall Sports Registration at our Power Campus (3232 South Power Road) in the Student Union. Please have student athletes attend. This is the time to meet coaches and register your student for one of the following sports offered this Fall:

  • Jr. High Boys Flag Football (Grades 5-8)
  • Jr. High and High School Co-Ed Swim (Grades 5-12)
  • Jr. High Girls Volleyball (Grades 5-8)
  • Jr. High and High School Cheerleading (Grades 5-12)
  • Jr. High and High School Color Guard (Grades 5-12)

Family Engagement Committee

We are interested in restarting the Family Engagement Committee. The FEC will be helping with school events, parent groups, fundraising initiatives and organizing parent support within the classroom.

Help Feed Our Teachers! 

We are asking parents to help support our staff by providing dinner items during the evening of Open House. Our theme for this year is a Taco/ Burrito Bar. Please have all donation items fully cooked and dropped off to the front office by 4:30 pm. Our teachers will be getting a dinner break from 5:00-6:00. We have 50 staff members on campus this year.
