Rainy Day Greetings,
I hope everyone has been enjoying the rain as much we are! Thank you for your patience, safety, and understanding as we worked through drive lane this morning. Our ultimate goal is safety and that also means keeping as much drive lane traffic off of Elliot and Recker Roads as possible. We are in our last week before October Break and what a full week we have with conferences, half day camps, and Homecoming Spirit Week! Everyone (even returning families) will need to re-register for a new account on the system. If you are interested in participating in hot lunch for the upcoming school year, please click on the link below. All hot lunches come with a meat, vegetarian, or salad option as well as 2% white milk or water at a cost of $3.75 per day. All August lunch orders MUST be completed by end of day on Monday 10/22.

Our 1st Annual Small Business Saturday is an opportunity for our community to support each other! We will have vendors showcasing a wide variety of items such as jewelry, candles, clothing, art work, gourmet foods, and so much more! There will be a charitable raffle and proceeds from the event will benefit our Kindergarten through 7th grade technology program.

San Tan Charter – Recker Campus Yearbooks On Sale Now
Our 2018-2019 San Tan Charter School – Recker Campus Yearbook Team is excited to announce that yearbooks are now on sale. Our yearbook theme this year is Why We Choose San Tan. This year we will have 68 beautiful, full color pages that highlight many of the San Tan happenings throughout the year. This edition of our yearbook is expected to be one of our best and our goal is to make sure all our students are highlighted throughout the year. The earlier you order your child’s yearbook, the cheaper it will be. We are starting our sales campaign with a Premiere Special price of $25. The price will go up on October 5th to $30 and gradually increase as we get closer to the end of the school year. Keep an eye out on our San Tan Charter School Connections Facebook page for sneak peaks at some of our great memories. Attached you will find the Yearbook Order form. Support Our Troops ~ Care Packages for Heroes! October 1st– 5th
- Donations accepted during Homecoming week, donation boxes will be available at the entrance gates and in the office.
- Our school has partnered with Boots in the House to deliver care packages to American soldiers deployed in Afghanistan, Iraq, on Naval Ships and much, much more! Every item makes a difference to our soldiers so far from home.
- Free admission to one San Tan Sports event per donation during Homecoming week. Donations will be accepted at the gates.
- The grade level with the most supplies will earn a special surprise! See the attached flyer to see the items per grade level. All donations are greatly appreciated; families are welcome to donate any item on the attached flyer.
