Hi Katie, What a great week on campus last week! I want to start by thanking the students, parents, and teachers for the incredibly warm welcome to the community. I enjoyed meeting everyone and thank you to those who were able to attend the Meet and Greets on Wednesday. If you were unable to attend but are interested in scheduling a time with me, please reach out to the front office. Our students returned from Spring Break and jumped right back into their daily routines! A big congrats to our students who completed Az Sci and AASA Writing this week. State TestingState testing is underway! We are so proud of our Recker Roadrunners, especially our 3rd graders who took their first ever state exam this week! Fifth grade took AzSci this week, and 3rd – 6th completed AASA Writing. Thank you parents for ensuring a smooth start to state testing!

Picture Day!As a reminder, Picture Day is this upcoming Wednesday. We can’t wait to see all the individual photos and class photos. And for our graduating classes, don’t forget to bring your cap and gown for that iconic shot. |
Recker Music ConcertSave the DateOur K-6th grade students will be participating in our Spring Music Concert on Wednesday, May 1st, led by the amazing Mrs. Cabrera! The first performance time will be 5:30 pm. Details to come on specific grade level performance time. |
Summer CampInformation and RegistrationSummer Camp Registration is around the corner. San Tan Charter is excited to be offering Summer Camp for our students. Please see dates and times below. After Care is available as an option at the time of registration for the 3:00 pm – 5:45 pm window. Registration information will be released this week. |
Earth Day CelebrationRoadrunners Celebrate Earth Day!Earth Day is around the corner, and we are excited for our Roadrunners to participate. On Earth Day, our entire school will be participating in a Recycling Rally organized by Student Council. Our Montessori program will be participating in specific activities outside and inside their classroom related to the care of our planet, in addition to the Recycling Rally. |
HamiltonA Performance by Mrs. Dippre’s ClassMrs. Dippre’s third grade class would like to invite you to see their Historical Fiction Musical “Hamilton Jr.” This original play is written about Alexander Hamilton and how he interacted with people such as George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and more! Come learn about these amazing Founding Fathers and how they influenced our country! Performances are in the Recker gym on Friday, April 19th, at 9:30-10am and 10:30-11am. |
Recker Roadrunners Sports Round-UpSports Recap for the WeekOur JH teams (5th/6th) went 4-3 last week with the JH boys basketball team 2&3 capturing their first win of the season! It was also great to have our JH cheerleaders back in action showing their support! Monday-
