My Bio

Hello! My name is Gini Sterling and I am excited to be joining the San Tan family! I truly love teaching and want my students to love the adventure that is learning. I strive to be there for my students no matter what. I enjoy working collaboratively with other teachers to provide the best experience for all students. I pride myself on carrying out meaningful yet fun lessons that keep my students engaged. I hope to help your student find his or her passions and to embrace the uniqueness inside!

I am a 4th generation Arizona native, born and raised in the Valley. I enjoy learning more about my family’s rich history in the state. I was never going to be anything but a Sun Devil and I graduated from ASU in 2009. I am a proud graduate of the Barrett Honors College.

My husband and I have two amazing daughters. Mikayla is almost 13 and Jordan turned one this summer.  We enjoy traveling and spending time together with our dogs. We are also busy with Mikayla’s extracurricular activities and our new salt water fish tank. Some of my favorite places I have been are Thailand and Australia but my tried and true vacation spots are New York City (to visit my amazing brother!) and California. I enjoy photography, reading, and watching TV when I want to relax. My favorite historical time to study is Ancient Egypt and my favorite author is Roald Dahl.
