My Bio

Hello! My name is Ella Strittmatter, and I am thrilled to be part of the San Tan Charter School community as a 7th and 8th-grade math teacher this year. Originally from Washington State, I ventured to Arizona to pursue my education at Grand Canyon University. Making the move from the rainy Pacific Northwest to the sunny desert has been an incredible change, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to bask in the Arizona sun every school day.

I love teaching because it allows me to make a difference in the lives of young learners. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing students grasp new concepts and develop a passion for mathematics. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels empowered to reach their full potential.

Outside of the classroom, I prioritize spending quality time with my friends and family. My hobbies include reading, hiking, and playing pickleball. I find joy and relaxation in immersing myself in a good book, exploring the beautiful Arizona landscape, and staying active through sports like pickleball.

I'm excited to embark on this educational journey with my students and contribute to their academic growth and success.
