My Bio

Hello! My name is Talia Polk. I attended GCU and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English for Secondary Education. I am excited to work with students in 7th, 8th and 9th grade again this year and learn all kinds of things! This is my second year here at San Tan Charter and I am loving it. 

Even though I was born in California I grew up in Mesa, AZ and have lived here in the valley since I was 8 years old. I have traveled to many fun places and love traveling whenever I can, but no matter how far I go I always end up back in Arizona thanks to the warm weather and the amazing connections I’ve made here.

When I’m not teaching I love to spend time reading. There is nothing like cozying up with a good book. On my more exciting nights, I’d be going to concerts and underground shows with my friends. Lastly, I own two very spoiled dogs; one is a chiweenie named Chihiro and the other is a pitbull named Benny. Playing with my dogs is always a great way to end my day.
