Dear San Tan Family,
Homecoming week is in full swing and the school spirit on campus is contageous! Thank you to Student Council for organizing a fun week for students and staff. Join in on the fun this Friday at the Homecoming Parade in Morrison Ranch and the Recker Campus at 10am followed by Homecoming Football Game, Friday, Sept. 19 at 7pm.
Next week is the last week of 1st quarter. We are on half-day schedules Wednesday through Friday of next week and then we are off two weeks for Fall Break. School offfices are closed October 1-6th and will resume normal operations on Oct. 7.
Next week is Parent-Teacher conferences. We are asking for donations to feed our teachers on Thursday for the late night meetings. Please click on the link below to sign up for food items to help feed our teachers.

Sign-Up for Parent-Teacher ConferencesSeptember 25 & 26Welcome to our Power Campus Fall Conferences!
Conferences are organized in 90-minute blocks with the average conference time lasting 10 minutes. Please select the time block that is most convenient for your family and select the teachers you would like to conference with before selecting “submit”.
Families will gather in the student union during their scheduled time block and wait for their teacher(s) to come and meet them for their appointment. This format allows families to move through all conferences with the least amount of wait time.

New Arizona Law – HB 2019Water Safety and Swimming Lessons InitiativeWe are writing to share important information about a new Arizona law, House Bill 2019 (A.R.S. 15-249.19), aimed at helping keep children safe in and around water. Why This MattersDrowning is one of the leading causes of accidental death among young children in Arizona. Many of these tragedies are preventable through early water safety education and swimming instruction. The new “Every Child a Swimmer” initiative makes it easier for families to access trusted resources to teach children vital swimming and water safety skills. We will be exploring everything from bustling cityscapes to the Erwan Waterfalls, floating markets, elephant sanctuaries, white sand beaches and the Grand Palace and so much more!
