I’m excited to be teaching both Math and American Sign Language this year! I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago and moved to Arizona several years ago. I earned my degree in Mathematics for Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University and have a passion for helping students build confidence in themselves both inside and outside of the classroom.
My goal as a teacher is to create a classroom environment that is interactive, supportive, and engaging while still encouraging students to challenge themselves academically. I enjoy using visual and hands-on learning strategies to make concepts more meaningful and accessible for all learners. Along with mathematics, I have a strong passion for languages and communication, including American Sign Language and Italian, which I am both fluent in, and I love helping students connect learning to the real world.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places and cultures, and spending time with family and friends. I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with students and families and having a great school year together!
