At San Tan Montessori’s Private Preschool, we follow Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy to create a calm, joyful space where young learners thrive. Our classrooms combine hands-on Montessori materials, music, and the proven Love and Logic® approach to help children grow in both skills and character. Every activity is designed to meet children where they are, encouraging independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

At San Tan Montessori Preschool, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our outdoor environment activities help children strengthen their connection with nature and community through hands-on exploration.
Seasonal gardening and tending to our Montessori hens

Harvesting, preparing, and enjoying food grown by the children
Twice a month, Carter’s Farm visits our campus, bringing a variety of farm animals for students to interact with. These experiences spark wonder, teach responsibility, and build social skills through teamwork and conversation.
We use Love and Logic® to help children develop responsibility, problem-solving skills, and respect for others.
Core Skills Taught:
Neutralizing arguments with calm communication
Guiding children to solve their own problems
Offering choices to prevent power struggles
Setting respectful, enforceable limits
Building strong teacher–student relationships
We believe parents are a child’s first and most important teacher. We keep communication open, provide progress updates, and work with you to support your child’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
