Happy February! I let the students know that the groundhog yesterday determined another six weeks of winter and one student replied with “What’s winter?” You can’t shovel sunshine – that’s for sure!

A special shout-out to all of our students who participated in STEMFest and Science Fair last week, and a special recognition to our students whose projects are going to the State Science Fair! Way to go Roadrunners!

Our Annual Montessori Gala is just around the corner! We are excited for this event to come back to the Recker Campus this school year. Y’all better dust off your boots and bring your best yee-haw, because this is gonna be a rootin’-tootin’, toe-tappin’ good time!

March 3rd: Recker K – 4th Music Concert
April 30th: Orchestra Concert

Reminder to bring instruments on your students respective music day. Instruments are part of the participation grade in music and not bringing your materials hurts you student and the class. You may have your student leave it in class during the days your student has music and then take it home they days they don’t have music and over the weekend to practice. Sheet music is being sent home please make sure you practice! If you don’t have an instrument that your student can take home you can still practice but understanding fingerings and practicing by listening and singing the music!

For our concert March 3rd we will be using recorders. Please make sure your students brings in a BAROQUE recorder by February 2nd. Information on the recorders is found in the document below please reach out to Ms. Cabrera If you have any questions.

Preschool – Music Together Celebration

Music Together Presents: Uncle Gerry Live
Join us for a Music Together family concert with beloved recording artist Uncle Gerry on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Recker Campus Gym. This fun, interactive event invites children and adults to sing, move, and make music together. All preschool families are welcome, and all proceeds support music scholarships for San Tan families.

Save the Date – Recker Family Game Night

Save the Date for our Recker Family Game Night on Friday, February 13th from 5-6:30 pm. Entrance for the entire family is free! Pizza and drinks will be available for purchase. Games include: Board games, BINGO, Blackjack, Outside games, Crafts & Valentine Table. Photo opportunity as well!
