Hello Power Campus!
Can you believe it? We have only one week remaining until Thanksgiving Break!
Thank you to all the families who attended our National and Junior National Honor Society induction ceremony yesterday evening. The San Tan chapter of NHS and NJHS hosted a great event on campus involving 30 students who were inducted into this year’s class. I want to give a special shout-out to our student-leaders who planned, organized and executed the ceremony: Bailey Tischer, Noah Gerber, Tyler and Chloe Gustavson, and Taylor Gentry, and Sydney Keziah. Student-driven leadership is a perfect example of being the Best Small School in the East Valley and I want to say thank you to Ms. Tischer for facilitating the work of our student leaders!
Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Reminder this year’s celebration is on Wednesday, November 25th. We invite both students and families to stay after school to enjoy lunch, picnic style, around our campus beginning at 11:24am. Meal options include bringing your own food from home (remember we are a NUT FREE campus) or ordering a lunch through My Hot Lunchbox. End of Semester Grading Period
As we are getting nearer to the end of the first semester grading period, we ask that students finish strong and rise to their potential by earning the best possible grades. Final deadlines for turning in Semester 1 work to teachers is Friday, December 18.
We encourage all families to please use Infinite Campus Parent Portal to help monitor your students’ grades. If you are needing help with this please reach out to our registrar Mrs. Gray at cgray@santancs.com.
Student-Student Tutoring Service
Members of the National Honor Society are offering FREE tutoring sessions both virtually and in-person by request. If you are interested in setting up a tutoring service, please visit the NHS Tutoring Classroom to locate an available tutor. Students must be logged into their San Tan account to access the Tutoring Classroom.
Health Reminder
Thank you to all the families who have kept student(s) home if they are not feeling well and for continuing to support the mask policy on campus. If you are signed up for On-Campus learning but are choosing to keep your children home for the day, please call-in so that we know your students will be working from home. In addition, parents choosing to move their students online for longer periods of time should contact the school to make arrangements.
Nut Policy Reminder
Please remember we are a strict, nut-free campus here at San Tan Charter School. All of our catered hot lunches and snacks on campus are nut free, so please be careful not to unintentionally pack any of these items for your students or to bring them on campus for snacks.
NO PDA
San Tan Charter School does not allow for any form of public displays of affection, or PDA on campus. This includes hand holding, hugging, kissing or showing physical contact between couples. Consequences for PDA range from conferencing with students to contacting parents to suspension from school.
Dress Code
Just a reminder of the San Tan Charter guidelines for dress and the student handbook policy involving dress code. Please make sure your students have enough coverage to maintain modesty and appropriateness in their daily choices for attire.

Sports Spectator Policy
The Sports spectator policy at San Tan Charter includes wearing masks and, when possible, practicing social distancing. In the gym, seating will be marked to assist with social distancing.
