Shanisha Richardson

Dean of Students K-6

My Bio

My name is Shanisha Richardson, and I am proud to be the new Dean of Students at San Tan Charter. I moved to Arizona in 1995 from Bronx, New York, and have lived in Arizona ever since. My husband and two children enjoy traveling and spending time together. I have earned the nickname Dr. Do-little because of my love for animals and their love for me.

My Associate's Degree is in Early Childhood Education from Mesa Community College. My Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University, and my Master’s Degree is in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Leadership.

Before assuming the deanship at San Tan Charter, I completed a 20-year tenure with the Maricopa County Head Start program. I started with Maricopa County in 2002.

I take my responsibility as a leader in education very seriously. My desire has always been to help children grow and achieve their dreams. I am genuinely excited to be a part of the San Tan family, and I look forward to our partnership in creating a fun, loving, academically inclined community of learners.
