My Bio
Hello!
My name is Chase Cartwright, and I am the Head Football Coach and High School Weight Training Teacher here at San Tan Charter High School. I have been on the Power Campus since November 1st, 2021, and will be closing out my fourth full year of employment in 2025!
I was born and spent the early part of my life in Phoenix before moving down to Tempe and attending Corona Del Sol High School from 2006-2010. I played Football, Basketball, and ran Track during my time at Corona, and then was fortunate to earn a full ride scholarship to play Football at Northern Arizona University from 2010-2014. While at NAU, I majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Sociology.
After college, I was invited to Rookie Mini-Camp with the Chicago Bears. Following that, I played two seasons in the Arena Football League as well before hanging the cleats up. I began my coaching career in the Fall of 2015 and have spent each of the last 11 years in the coaching profession at the college, high school, and / or youth football level.
As a Head Coach, I aim to help instill a Team First Mentality in our Football Program built on the values of Character, Academics, and Relationships. I want our Student-Athletes to represent themselves, their families, teammates, school, and community with class. Our Coaching Staff is passionate about maximizing the Student-Athlete experience here at San Tan Charter High School!
As a Weight Room Teacher, it is my focus to always make sure we maintain both safe and developmental learning environments for all of our students. We want our students to find value and self-confidence through exercise in our Weight Training Programs. We've had a lot of success helping students build a positive relationship with physical fitness over the years and will continue to find new and creative ways to create engagement and excitement in our curriculum!
Cheers to making the 2025-2026 school year our best yet!
