Life at San Tan Power Campus

At San Tan Charter School’s Power Campus, our Traditional Program serves students in Grades 7–12 with a strong college- and career-focused pathway.

We combine rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and a vibrant student life within a close-knit community where every student feels seen and supported.

Families choose San Tan because it delivers the energy and opportunities of a “big-time” school while maintaining the relationships and care of a small-school environment.

Core Courses Grades 7–12

At San Tan Charter School, our high school programs build the foundation for college, careers, and lifelong success. Students in grades 7–12 benefit from small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and a challenging yet supportive environment.

Our curriculum combines strong academics with hands-on learning, giving students opportunities to:

  • Advance in math placement and explore honors courses.
  • Access AP™ and Dual Enrollment classes for college credit.
  • Prepare early for scholarships, college athletics, and career readiness.

Elective Courses Grades 7–12

Students in grades 7–12 explore electives that spark curiosity, build new skills, and prepare them for future success.

Electives range from fine arts and leadership programs to athletics and technology labs. In the earlier grades, students rotate through exploratory electives each quarter, giving them a chance to try new interests. As they move into high school, electives expand to include advanced courses that align with college, career, and personal goals.

Note to Families: Elective enrollment is based on student interest, minimum enrollment numbers, and available staffing.

Athletics at San Tan Power Campus

Championship Programs, School Spirit, and Student Growth

At San Tan Charter School’s Power Campus, athletics are more than competition—they’re a cornerstone of student life. Our junior high and high school teams consistently compete at the highest levels, producing state championships and college-bound athletes. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and school pride, Roadrunner athletics are an experience students never forget.

State-of-the-Art Learning Spaces

Our Power Campus features a dedicated elective building with:

  • A full culinary arts classroom
  • Music studios and rehearsal spaces
  • Access to athletic stadiums for football, softball, and baseball

We’ve been very happy since moving our daughter to STCS two years ago. She feels very successful academically. Great supportive teachers and staff. We’ve had a great middle school experience and we’re looking forward to her joining the new campus.
