Tauscher Times 2.10.26

Dear Roadrunner,

It’s a BIG week to be a Roadrunner! This Wednesday, we’re making school history with our first-ever home playoff soccer match, and we’ll also be hosting home playoff basketball on the same night. We are planning for one loud campus and a whole lot of pride! This is the kind of moment that reminds us what happens when commitment, teamwork, and belief all line up.

Beyond athletics, our campus has been buzzing with creativity and curiosity. We’re celebrating an incredible weekend of the school play and dance recital, as well as an energy-filled Science Week Awards Pep Assembly hosted by Student Council.

This week we have our Valentine’s Day fundraiser & Dinner and as as we push through these final weeks before Spring Break, the momentum feels real heading into Spring Testing season.

Reminder there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 16, in celebration of President’s Day.

Let’s pack the stands this week, cheer loud, and keep building something special together!

Winter Sports Playoffs

Roadrunner teams host games this week

Coach Mike Cartagena and the varsity boys soccer team hosts the school’s first-ever home playoff game this week while Coach Crooms and the #1-ranked varsity boys basketball hosts #16 Holbrook at home on Wednesday.

Both games are AIA playoff games, which means adults and students must purchase tickets through the GoFan app.

Drivelane Procedure and Dress Code REMINDER

Please be respectful, aware of the rules and mindful of each other

We’ve recently received a few safety calls and concerns from families regarding the drivelane. For everyone’s safety, please do not stop and block traffic to let students out unless you are pulling forward to the front curb drop-off area. We are seeing vehicles pass others while doors are opening and students are exiting the middle lane, which can create unsafe conditions for everyone.

If you are in a hurry for work, we recommend using the nearby Fry’s parking area for drop-off or pick-up. Many of our students and families choose to walk safely to campus from that location using the sidewalks, which helps keep our drivelane moving smoothly and safely.

As the weather warms up, we’re starting to see a few creative interpretations of spring fashion on campus 😄. Please help your student follow our school dress code each morning. If a student chooses clothing that doesn’t meet expectations, please don’t be surprised if they receive a dress code reminder during the day. .

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our campus respectful, comfortable, and focused on learning.
