It’s been great having students back on campus this week! October is a busy month with many of our classes attending Field Trips, the Gifted Camp, and our Lower Elementary Music/Art show. Smencils are still being sold this week at morning driveline!

We are looking for more families to host a table at our Cultural Fair on Friday, October 31st. If you are interested, please sign up below!

Last but not certainly not least, please remember to utilize the crosswalk if you are dropping off in the morning.

Electives Corner

Cultural Fair

Thanks to our FEC both the Book Fair and Grandparent’s Day Lunches were big hits this year! They are already hard at work planning our next big activity; the International Cultural Fair. We need families to sign up for tables to host countries, along with signing up to volunteer as well. Please see links below. The International Cultural Fair is set for Friday, October 31st.

Preschool Families – Music Together Celebration

A friendly reminder for our Preschool Families that our Music Together Celebration is coming up on Wednesday, October 29th at 8:30 am.

 

Kona Ice – October 23rd

Kona Ice will be on campus on October 23rd selling their sugar-free options during dismissal from 3-4 pm as a treat to students on a great Quarter 1! A portion of the proceeds go back to the school.

 

Winter Sports Registration Info

Registration for the 2025-2026 winter sport season is open (Sign-up hereI have included my PowerPoint which is a step-by-step process to get fully registered for the upcoming winter season! Remember that your student-athlete will not be able to participate in their sport until the full registration process is complete. All the sports that will be offered this upcoming fall season are down below. The start days of each sport along with the head coach’s email are included next to the sport. If you have any sport related questions, please reach out to our coaches. Please reach out to me if you have any questions throughout the registration process!

Mandatory Winter HS Sport Meeting:

Something that will be new this year is a HS only mandatory meeting before each season. The winter meeting will take place on November 18th at 6PM in the Main Gym. At least one parent or guardian of a winter sport athlete and their athlete is required to be in attendance for this meeting. Failure to attend this meeting will result in a one-on-one meeting to go over what was discussed. We will have a check-in table at the front where you will check in before you enter the gym. At this meeting I will be going over player/parent athletic honor code, sport banquets, transfers, AIA sportsmanship rating, and our partnership with spooner sports medicineIf you attended this meeting in the fall, you do not need to attend this meeting again in the winter. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Sport Specific Zoom Meeting INFO:

More information will be sent out with each sports zoom link and day/time it will be taking place. At these zoom meetings our coaches will go over basic information to get ready for the season. You will also be able to ask any sport specific questions at these zoom meetings.

JH – (5-8th grade)

  • Flag Football- (Practice Starts December 8th)
  • Elementary Cheer- (Any questions on practice start date and sport info please reach out coach)
  • Girls Basketball- (Practice Starts December 8th)
 

San Tan T-Shirts

If your student was unable to get a t-shirt at Meet the Teacher, your child would have received their shirt today! Please check their backpack for a t-shirt. If your student didn’t add their name to the list at Meet the Teacher or missed Meet the Teacher, please stop by the Front Office.
