Born and raised in Montana, I spent my first 50 years there, 21 of which were spent raising my three children and teaching high school mathematics in a farming and ranching community. After retiring from the Montana school system, I moved to Colorado and spent three years teaching at Prospect Ridge Academy, a college preparatory school which emphasized math and science. I then moved to Arizona and taught two years at San Tan Charter School. After a one-year hiatus, where my wife and I spent a year in Washington state, I returned to STCS where I presently teach.
