Hi everyone! I’m Ms. Samaniego, I am a science teacher at San Tan Charter, and I am so excited to be part of our school community. As an Arizona native and a proud first-generation American, my roots here run deep, and my love for our community shapes everything I do.
My goal every single day is to prove that science doesn’t have to be intimidating; it can be incredibly meaningful and, honestly, just a lot of fun. I am deeply passionate about intentional instruction, which means I don’t believe in busy work-every game, lab, and lesson in my classroom has a true purpose. I hold both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Applied Biological Sciences from Arizona State University, and I absolutely love teaching students about the wonders of our Earth, including all the incredible life that calls it home. When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me staying active! I have a huge love for group fitness and spend my time teaching high-energy indoor cycling courses. I promise to bring that same enthusiasm and energy into our classroom, and I can’t wait to watch our students thrive this year!
