Season Overview

Our Fall Season offers athletic opportunities for students in grades 5–12, featuring Intramural, Junior High, and High School teams. San Tan Charter School competes in the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) for high school athletics and the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA) for junior high athletics.

Registration Opens: Mid-July

Practices Begin: Late July/ Early August

Requirements: All Paperwork must be completed before the first practice.

San Tan Charter School Athletics continues to raise the bar in both competition and community. Our student-athletes and coaches exemplify excellence, leadership, and sportsmanship across every sport and season.

  • New Main Gym Mural celebrating our Roadrunner pride and athletic tradition.
  • Volleyball Program donated $1,000 to a cancer survivor in 2024.
  • 2024 Junior High Baseball โ€“ CAA State Champions.
  • 2025 Junior High Cheer โ€“ CAA State Champions.
  • 2024 High School Boys Basketball โ€“ AIA 2A State Champions.
  • 2023–2025 High School Girls Volleyball โ€“ Small School Invitational Tournament Winners (3 consecutive years).
  • 4 Coaches Recognized as Coach or Region Coach of the Year (2024โ€“2025 Season).
  • 12 Student-Athletes signed to play at the collegiate level in 2024โ€“2025 (20% of the senior class).
  • 2025 High School Boys Basketball โ€“ Final Four finish in the first-ever Copper Division Championship (Top Teams 1Aโ€“3A).
