My name is Nicole. I grew up in Arvada, Colorado and moved to Gilbert in 1995. I have two children. Taylor is 13 years old and is in 8th Grade. Blake is 11 years old and is in 6th Grade. I attended Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Before having my children, I worked as a social worker for an amazing program called Healthy Families. Working for Healthy Families allowed me to help foster the parent/child relationship and partner with parents to help them understand child development for children birth to age 5. It was during that work that I learned so much about families and children. I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom for 7 years. Once Taylor began Kindergarten at San Tan, I developed a passion for volunteering. I loved being on campus. I started as the Lunch Coordinator at San Tan Charter and from there have been in many different roles. I have been the school secretary/health aide, Administrative Assistant, and now am in my most current role of Athletic Director. It has been such a fun and rewarding role. Getting to see how passionate our student athletes, coaches, and families are about each sport has been a real blessing to see first-hand. Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with my children, reading, hiking, bike riding, and going to the movies. I always learn so much for all of the students on campus. I am excited for another great school year.
