My Bio

My name is Marthana Hall and I been at San Tan Charter School developing the math intervention program since 2013.  Prior to San Tan Charter School, I taught for 11 years at an “A” ranked charter school in Ahwatukee. I have taught all grades from kindergarten to high school, but I especially enjoy teaching elementary math.  My true passion is teaching students who struggle in order to help them become more proficient and confident in all areas of life. I believe all students can be enthusiastic learners if provided a safe, challenging, and engaging atmosphere with the appropriate accommodations and expectations.

I am originally from Kansas but have lived in Chandler, Arizona since 1988.  My husband Bob and I got married in Fort Worth Texas in 1988 and then transferred to Arizona.  We have a terrific daughter, Marissa, who graduated from Northern Arizona University. Go Lumberjacks! We enjoy hiking, snow skiing, swimming, and spending time together.

Let the learning and good times begin!
