My Bio

I was born and raised here in Arizona, just south of Tucson. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University – Hawaii in Music and Vocal Performance. I met my husband in Hawaii while going to school. He swept me off my feet by climbing coconut trees and fire-knife dancing. We have four beautiful children. Three boys and one girl.

I have taught Music privately for twelve years and worked as a piano, voice, and ukulele instructor for Musician’s Choice Studio in north Mesa. I’ve been in a steel drum band called “Shaka Steel” and toured around the Hawaiian Islands singing and playing Music. I have also worked for Disney World, singing and dancing, creating magical moments for visiting families! I am also certified as a teacher in the Music Together Program as well as the Arts.

This will be my sixth year teaching Fine Arts at San Tan Charter School. I love being a part of the San Tan Family and the opportunity to get to know the wonderful families here. I am honored to be a part of your children’s learning experiences as they develop a love for Music, Art, Drama, and Culinary.  It is my privilege to introduce your children to rhythms, acting, singing, dancing, drawing, painting, and the joy Music and the Arts can bring!
