San Tan Charter School is offering a variety of summer camp options to support continued academic and athletic growth as well as provide summer solutions for our working families.  Running from June 1st through July 29th, we have 9-weeks of half day and full day options. Choose the weeks and/or camps you want to join.

  Join us on a “Choose Your Own Adventure” themed summer camp with our Montessori Summer Camp.

   Improve your athletic skill with our team of coaches. Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Swim are offered this summer.

Montessori Summer Camp

Montessori Summer Camp – Health and Safety Precautions

Here are the steps that our staff is taking to keep children and staff well. Upon arrival to school, our office or school nurse will check students and staff for the following daily:

  • Fever over 100 will be sent home
  • Cough

If a member of our community experiences any of the items outlined above, they will be sent home for 3 days. Upon returning to school, you will be required to be cleared from our school nurse.

San Tan is cleaning all used classrooms and school spaces three-times daily during this time to keep surface areas clean.

Our 9-week summer program is tailored to students from Toddler through 6th Grade.  Travel to the Lost Kingdom, Atlantis, Greece, Paris, the Wild Wild West, and more on our weekly adventures.

  • Choose the Weeks you’d like to participate
  • Choose from our 3-Day, 4-Day, or 5-Day programs
  • Choose Half Day or Full Day
  • Before Care (7 AM – 8 AM) and After Care (3:45 PM – 5:45 PM) options available

Athletic Summer Camp

Athletic Camps – Health and Safety Precautions

We are taking extra steps to ensure we are keeping our campus sanitized. For the safety of all of our staff and students we are asking the following things:

  • All adults and students will have their temperature checked by the front office before going to the gym or football field
  • Fever over 100 or Cough will be sent home
  • All adults and students please hand sanitize or wash hands upon arrival
  • All students will need to bring their own water bottle. We will provide the round cooler of water to refill water bottles and will make sure it is washed and sanitized every day
  • We will be wiping down all equipment at the end of each camp session with sanitizing wipes
  • If your student is feeling under the weather, please do not send them to camp
  • To help minimize the number of people we are asking for no spectators this summer, including siblings. Only students enrolled to attend the camp should be in the gym or on the field
  • We will utilize our drive lane for pick up and drop off of student athletes, again this minimizes the amount of people we have on campus
  • Locker Rooms will only be open for the use of the bathrooms, no showers or use of lockers for summer camps

Community Health and Safety Precautions

Take steps to help us protect our community

  • Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
  • Throw used tissues in the trash.
  • Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

What you can do now

  • Keep children home when they are sick. Students (and parents/guardians) who are ill, especially with acute respiratory symptoms (not allergies), should stay home.
  • Help us teach your children to always cover their cough and sneezes with a tissue or elbow.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Help us remind children to avoid touching their mouth and nose since that is how germs get into the body.
  • Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects.
  • Plan for if community spread occurs. Ensure you have a plan to designate a caregiver, such as a family member or neighbor, for a sick child(ren) if you can’t stay home.
